MAKE // STITCHED TWILL TAPE

{Photograph by Kimi Kolba}

Thank you for all the kind words and tweets about The Crafts Dept. Gift Wrap Challenge project we created. In keeping with our stitched package theme we wanted to show another way to incorporate stitching in to packaging. We love to stitch on to twill tape to add visual interest. You can make a pattern using a straight stitch or a zig zag stitch on the sewing machine. And if you don't have a sewing machine you can easily hand stitch a design or pattern on the twill tape as well.

What a neat way to spice up some regular twill tape -- which is already lovely by itself!
